There have been a few recent confirmations to key positions in the Trump administration, outlined below.
Recent confirmations
Andrew Wheeler was confirmed as the 15th Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Feb. 28. Wheeler served as the deputy administrator from April to July 2018, and he was the acting administrator from July 2018 to February 2019.
William Bar was confirmed as U.S. Attorney General on Feb. 14. Barr previously held this position from 1991 to 1993 under the George H. W. Bush administration. The U.S. Attorney General has jurisdiction over the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
These confirmations follow several other recent announcements to positions filled within the administration.
