States Continue to Move Forward with New Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule

As states continue to analyze the Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule, we are continuing to monitor the latest rule-making activity for each state.

Below is the most recent anticipated schedule of states and territories adopting the Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule:

  • States Where the Rule is in Effect: Alabama, Alaska, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Utah, Virginia and West Virginia
  • Not Yet Determined: Arkansas, California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Louisiana, Maine, North Dakota and New Mexico
  • Anticipated Rule-making by July 2018: Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma and Vermont
  • Anticipated Rule-making by July 2019: Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Oregon, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming
