Generator Improvements Rule Update July 2019

We continue to see more movement in states who have adopted the new Generator Improvements Rule or who have had activity and are anticipated to make decisions. Some states have moved up their anticipated rule adoption and others have moved it back. We will continue to monitor activity and keep you posted with the most up-to-date information available.

Anticipated Rulemaking in 2019
Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wisconsin

Indiana has set their second public hearing for August 14. Michigan is currently drafting the rule with anticipated publishing in the Fall of 2019. New York’s public meeting was July 23 while South Dakota’s was July 18. Ohio’s draft rule is published with the public hearing scheduled for August 21. Comments are due in Wisconsin by August 5.
