Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) was created in 1991 by the Texas Legislature, after combining the Texas Water Commission and the Texas Air Control Board. The agency focuses on promoting clean air, water, and the safe management of waste in Texas.
TCEQ has offered professional development and training for 30 years. Attendees from across the environmental sector will join TCEQ staff at Austin Convention Center for learning and development opportunities. There are more than 100 classroom presentations, and 13 different educational tracks are offered. Course will cover these topics; air and permitting, oil and gas, industrial and waste management, compliance and enforcement, and remediation programs.
