Washington State Department of Ecology Proposing Hazardous Waste Regulatory Updates

To incorporate the requirements of the EPA’s Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule, the Washington State Dept of Ecology is proposing comprehensive updates to the state’s regulations.

The draft rules are now available for review and informal comment from October 9, 2017 through December 19, 2017. To explain the changes and solicit comments, public meetings have been scheduled for November 9, 2017 and December 4, 2017, and the Dangerous Waste Rule making Informational Webinar took place November 15, 2017.
